Résumé
Oman dismissal of Libyan adviser Sultan Qabus of Oman has informed Colonel Mu'ammar al-Qadhafi, that his government has dismissed Umar al-Baruni, a person who holds Libyan nationality and worked in the post of adviser to the Sultan. He did so when he learned that the people's court in the Libyan Arab Republic had convicted Baruni. His government had withdrawn the Oman passport which had been issued and Baruni was no longer in the Sultanate. Baruni had occupied key positions, including ministerial posts, in the Libyan defunct regime. When the September 1969 revolution broke he was abroad and has been so since.
