هدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد مفهوم العلة عند أحد علماء الأصول الإباضية، والوقوف عند أبعاده الدلالية ووظائفه العلمية، ضمن سياقه الزمني وهو القرن الرابع الهجري، وكان اختيار كتاب الجامع لابن بركة عينة للدراسة. وتتجلى أهمية البحث في كون العلة مصطلحا مفتاحيا لكثير من مسائل الأصول، كما أن عليها مدار القياس. لذا كان السؤال الذي هو منطلق البحث عن مدلول العلة عند المتقدمين من أصوليي الإباضية، وعن مجالاته الوظيفية في التأليف الفقهي؟ وكان المنهج المتبع في الدراسة وصفيا إحصائيا استقرائيا للعينة المختارة. وقد أسفر البحث عن نتائج تجلت أهمها في صياغة تعريف للعلة عند ابن بركة، وتحديد مجالاته الوظيفية في ثلاث هي: التأصيل، والتعليل، والنقد.
This research aimed to define the concept of the "cause" for Ibn Baraka by his book “Al-Jami`, within its temporal context, which is the fourth century AH. The importance of the research is evidenced by the fact that the "cause" is a key term, as it has the course of Qiyas. So the question of the search for the meaning of the"cause" among the advanced Ibadi fundamentalists, and about its functional fields of jurisprudential authorship? The approach used in the study was an inductive statistical of the selected sample. One of the most important results of the research is the formulation of a definition of the "cause" by Ibn Baraka, and the identification of his functional areas in three: rooting, reasoning, and criticism. - Langue
