Résumé

Taxation and quoting are absolutely the most promiment issues in the Islamic commercial law. This study aims to explain the controversy among Ibhadi scholars about the provisions of taxation and quoting considering Sheikh Bayyoud’s fatwa on purchasing the taxes during the French Occupation of Algeria. Beside this the study also elaborates the understanding of Islamic Law in Sheikh Bayyoud’s thought who is the last Ibhadi Leader.
