سالت أقلام المغاربة قديما وحديثا كتابة وعناية بالتاريخ، وكانت المخطوطات أهم مصادر لهم، فقد اهتم كتّابهم المحدثين والمعاصرين بما كتب الأوائل عن تاريخ بلاد المغرب بكل أطيافه ومذاهبه، ومن بين هؤلاء الذين اعتنوا بالمخطوط عامة والإباضي منه بخاصة نذكر الشيخ إبراهيم محمد طلاّي المزابي الجزائري(1929-2021).
اهتم الشيخ طلاي بالمخطوط الإباضي أيما اهتمام، فرغم مشاغله الكثيرة ومسؤولياته العديدة الرسمية والعرفية، إلا أنه بادر إلى إخراج مخطوط الشيخ أبي العباس أحمد بن سعيد الدرجيني(ت نحو670ه/1271م) الموسوم بــــــ : " طبقات المشايخ بالمغرب "، من الرفوف المنسية إلى الصفوف الجلية، فاستفاد منه الآلاف من طلبة العلم بعد أن قام بدراسته وتحقيقه، ووضع عناوين وهوامش له.
يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز جهود الشيخ طلاي في الكتابة والتدوين، سيرا على نهج مشايخ العصر الوسيط، مُقتديا بجميل سيرهم ومناقبهم، مما جعله موسوعيا في مؤلفاته يجمع بين الأدب والتاريخ والفقه والنوازل.
انتهج الشيخ طلاي في تحقيقه منهج سلفه من كتّاب التاريخ في العصر الوسيط ولم يشذ عن القاعدة العامة، متبعا أسلوبا بسيطا مُيسرا دون تكلّف أدبي أو سجع أو محسنات، مركزا على سرد ووصف الأحداث التاريخية بدقة، مستعينا في عمله ببعض الأكاديميين، فرغم اقتصاره على نسخ قليلة في تحقيقه نجد أنه أنجز دراسة شاملة ووافية هي كافية كمصدر ومرجع لما سيأتي بعدها من البحوث.
Sheikh Ibrahim Tellay took great interest in the Ibadi manuscript. Despite his many preoccupations and numerous official and customary responsibilities, he took the initiative to publish the manuscript of Sheikh al-Darjini entitled: “The Tabaqats of Sheikhs in Maghreb”. From forgotten shelves to clear classrooms, thousands of students benefited from his study of it after he studied and verified it, and added titles and footnotes to it.
This research aims to highlight Sheikh Tellai’s efforts in writing and recording, following the path of the sheikhs of the medieval era, emulating their conduct and virtues, which combined literature, history, jurisprudence and legal rulings in his writings.
In his investigation, Sheikh Tellai followed the approach of his predecessors among the historians of the medieval era and did not deviate from the general rule, using a simple and accessible style without literary affectation, rhyme, or embellishments. He focused on accurately narrating and describing historical events, relying on the expertise of some academics in his work. Moreover, in his investigations despite being limited to a few copies in his investigation of issues and social classes we find a comprehensive and thorough study that is sufficient as a source and reference for other research.
